People have accused this kind of ridiculously adorable game for being a straight rip-off of Team Ico's efforts (namely, the still to be released and awe-inspiring-looking game The Last Guardian), but I think I'm even more excited for this game than I am for The Last Guardian… mainly because I'll probably never get to play The Last Guardian. Anyways, it appears to be a Zelda-type action-adventure game with the help of a muppet-esque stone golem creature, and frankly I'm pretty down with this. In fact, I might even go so far as to say that Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom is my most anticipated game of the year.
Just look at it! How could it be terrible? Right? Oh god, hopefully it's not terrible.
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom releases on November 30, two weeks after Call of Duty: Black Ops and nine days after Donkey Kong Country Returns. Here's hoping that this potential gem of a game doesn't get lost in the shuffle, even though it almost certainly will. Le sigh.
