So, I was no big fan of Fable 2, but there's no one better than Peter Molyneux at building hype for his games. I was reasonably excited for Fable 3 with no good reason, really, and I thought that Lionhead Studios would be one of the few developers doing something interesting with the so-far very disappointing Kinect technology.
Is there anyone excited for this thing at all? I think the possibilities for controller-less gaming are intriguing but nobody's doing anything remotely interesting with it. Couple that with the fact that Microsoft isn't letting indie developers develop for Kinect and I think we're looking at a $150 boondoggle on the same level as Sega CD or maybe even the Power Glove. Here's hoping that Kinect can find its footing sooner rather than later.
