I'm sorry everyone, but I just don't give a rat's ass about the Call of Duty series. "Iterizing" a series that's based on horrifying conflict and war is one of the most callous bits of marketing and development hardheadedness in any medium, and the lack of serious discourse about these games makes it even worse. The fact that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was, for a time (mostly centred around its release back in 2009) considered the "ambassador" for gaming in general is something that I will never comprehend. This is what we chose to represent our medium to the masses? A juvenile neo-con war fantasy wrapped up in the sheen of graphical verisimilitude and the worst characterization this side of a Tommy Wiseau flick?
