Seriously, everyone, thank you.
As someone who tries to extol the virtues of the commonly misunderstood little white box called the Wii, it gets very difficult when Nintendo releases statistics like these. While the games on Nintendo's first-party list are uniformly pretty excellent (except Link's Crossbow Training… I mean, how the hell did that get on there?), the third-party list is… lacklustre, to say the least. Now, I'm not the type to admonish people for having different tastes than I do. There are different games for different gamers. The problem is that these casual games aren't even any good, and there are a ton of great pick-up-and-play games for the Wii. Unfortunately, people are less interested in Boom Blox than they are in Game Party, and that's sad sad sad. At least there's still Mario Sports Mix on the way, right?
